Women and Family Committee

The Women and Family Committee is dedicated to addressing the legal and social issues faced by Afghan women and families, with a strong focus on advocating for women’s rights. The committee also provides support programs for victims of gender-based violence and discrimination.

Duties

  • Offer free legal consultations to Afghan women and families.
  • Support victims of domestic violence and other forms of gender-based violence.
  • Organize awareness campaigns about women’s and children’s rights.

Objectives

  • Promote gender equality within Afghan communities.
  • Support vulnerable families, particularly those in exile.

Future Plans

  • Establish a network of Afghan female lawyers to foster legal collaboration.
  • Launch targeted support programs for Afghan refugee women.
